After obtaining his Bachelors degree from Louisiana Tech University, Josh moved to Denver and began a career as a social worker. After being exposed to gardening thru his wife and amazing community, he was inspired to further his knowledge.  He interned at the GrowHaus, a Hydroponics Farm, and with the Butterfly Pavilions helping to manage 20 honey bee hives under the supervision of their Head Entomologist.  Josh continued his formal education obtaining a certificate in Public Health from the University of Colorado at Anshutz,  Master Composting Program thru Denver Urban Gardens, and the Master Gardening Program thru the Colorado State Extension Program.
